Welcome to Hermes and the Photographer’s Odyssey, a travel blog that narrates my expeditions. My quest  to take pictures of Falls, Nature, State Park, Registered Historical sites and general scenic view has led me to explore places. When we say “travel”, people think about trips far away from home, exotic destinations and the like; while I somehow agree, I have also realized that exploring our “local backyard” can be enthralling and fun!

Did you know that there is an American’s Stonehenge in New Hampshire? and a dinosaur park in Massachusetts where you can literally walk into dinosaurs’ footprints? did you know that there is a place in Massachusetts where you can observe remnants of the Ice Age Period? did you know that there is a beautiful bookstore in Montague, Massachusetts with a fall overview and so picturesque that looks like a postal card?
